Uneasy Movements In Ondo As Information Spread Members Are Converging All Over As 7days Funeral Rites That Heralds In Burial Of Ogboni Fraternity Leader, Araba Ajemoju Begin

There are uneasy movements in Ondo state, particularly Akure the capital..

And the development has roots in scary thoughts and fearful speculation.

Members of age long traditional institution, Ogboni Confraternity are converging in that part of the country to honour of their departed leaders.

The recently dead is identified as Araba Ajemoju.

He is said to be one of the national leaders of the powerful traditional association.
As part of his burial activities, a seven days funeral rite kicked off on Wednesday June 15 2016.

A Curfew of 6:30pm evening till 5:30a.m in the next morning for the whole of this period was announced for the traditional associations ‘’off the public glare extra-curricular activities.’’

And to honour a worthy leader members from different parts of Nigeria and beyond are said to have started trooping to the Araromi street convergence point for all initiates to give last salute.

Societynowng.com learnt this development as sparked off fearful speculations with roots in scary thoughts.

Family have started warning their love ones to stay off until the Ogbonis are done with the burial of their leader to avoid ‘’voodoo invoked death or calamity’’.

The speculations have become so thick that it has resulted in uneasy movements around Akure and Ondo state generally.
But a source on ground insists the panic being swell is unnecessary.

According to the participant observer ‘’i was in that area, Araromi street which is the heart of this incident around the curfew time, it was deserted but there was nothing untoward happening…i went to do something, did what i came for and left without any hitch…people are just fueling misconception based on lack of understanding of what they are dealing with”
