Tunde Lemo Chairs, Bimbo Ashiru, GNI, Reuben Abati, Others Make Team As Dapo Abiodun Makes Bold Economic Move In Ogun State

Dapo Abiodun has made a bold economic move as the Governor-Elect in Ogun state.

The man about to take over from Governor Amosun as set up an Economic Transition Committee that will bring to life his campaign manifesto and transform Ogun state into the pride of the nation.

The 23 man Economic Committee team has former bank Managing Director Tunde Lemo as Chairman.

The members include shining light of Amosun’s government – Bimbo Ashiru, gubernatorial candidate of rival parties – Gboyega Isiaka and Rotimi Paseda and Reuben Abati (Deputy Gubernatorial candidate).

Other members of the team are Dapo Okubadejo, Gbenga Kaka, Salimot Badru, Foluso Phillips, Konyin Ajayi, Kunle Elebute, Mutiu Sunmonu, Olajide Odewale, Kayode Sofola, Sidi Osho, Semiu Musa Olomu, Bayo Adeola, Tola Mobolurin, Lekan Asuni, Tunji Oredipe, Dunni Opayemi, Bola Ogunsola and Bode Mustapha.

According to a press statement released yesterday – Friday, April 13, 2019 – which provided an insight into the how the Economic team would function ‘’ “To ensure an effective and efficient discharge of its assignment, the Economic Transition Committee will be assisted by Work Groups, each of which will focus on its assigned thematic area such as Education, Youth and Sports, Health and Social Services, Government Processes, Agriculture and Food Security, Transformational Initiatives, among others. The names of the members of the Work Groups will be released in due course. While the Economic Transition Committee will focus on developing the Roadmap, another committee has been set up to interface with the incumbent government to ensure a smooth and orderly change of Administration in the State.”
