Zenith Bank Plc is set to explore the future of artificial intelligence and technological innovation as it hosts the sixth edition of its flagship technology event, Zenith Bank Tech Fair 2026: Future Forward 6.0, on Thursday, November 5.

The event, themed “AI: Embrace or Extinct,” will bring together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators and other stakeholders to examine the growing influence of artificial intelligence and its implications for businesses, individuals and the digital economy.

Conceived by the Bank’s Founder, Jim Ovia, CFR, the annual Tech Fair reflects his vision of empowering young Nigerians through technology and nurturing a generation of inventors capable of developing solutions with global relevance.

Over the years, the initiative has evolved into a platform for connecting ideas, talent and opportunities, providing young innovators with opportunities to showcase their inventions, explore emerging technologies and engage with industry leaders.

Its impact is reflected in the success of several startups that have emerged from its competitions. Previous winners include JumpnPass, which developed a self-checkout solution for retail businesses, and CreditChek, which deploys artificial intelligence and open banking to simplify credit verification.

At the 2025 edition, TrustLoop emerged winner of the hackathon with its digital identity verification solution, while Cubbes Technologies clinched the startup pitch competition with an artificial intelligence-powered educational technology platform.

Through prize funding running into millions of naira and mentorship opportunities, the Tech Fair has continued to support promising innovators in transforming ideas into practical solutions to real-world challenges.

This year’s edition will, for the first time, be held virtually, extending participation beyond geographical boundaries and opening the event to a wider audience across Nigeria and internationally.

The theme challenges individuals and organisations to consider the pace of artificial intelligence adoption and the consequences of failing to adapt to an increasingly technology-driven world.

Participants are expected to gain insights into emerging innovations, explore the possibilities of AI and engage with ideas shaping the future of work, business and technology.

The event will be accessible through Zoom, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.

Interested participants can register through www.zenithbank.com/techfair.

The sixth edition further underscores Zenith Bank’s commitment to digital advancement, youth empowerment and the development of Nigeria’s technology ecosystem.
