Tokunbo Afikuyomi, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas Quarrel

…Over former senator’s near scuttle of rep member’s son wedding.

Ex Senator and defeated gubernatorial aspirant- Tokunbo Afikuyomi and House of Representative member, Jumoke Okoya Thomas have quarrelled.

Sources attribute the cause of the simmering cold war between them to actions by Afikuyomi that almost marred Jumoke Okoya’s son wedding to consistent presidential candidate Sarah Jubril’s daughter.

Afikuyomi was reportedly contracted to provide the wedding gown.

Informant revealed he cornered the arrangement based on a ‘special’ relationship he enjoyed with Jumoke Okoya Thomas.

His subsequent conducts reportedly soured the affair.

Sources confirmed that the former senator turned commissioner failed to deliver the wedding package as at when due- and compounded the situation by turning incommunicado.

According to a source though he eventually perfected the arrangement- but no before he had damaged the relationship with Okoya Thomas.

Insiders revealed the apprehension and tension he caused with his behaviour had greatly infuriate Jumoke Okoya Thomas.

The house of representative member and the former law maker had reportedly clashed over the development when Afikuyomi provided the gown at the 11th hour of the wedding that held last month.

Stakeholders had intervened and brokered a cosmetic peace.

But insiders insist behind the facade of peace is a simmering cold war.
