Supporters of former Governor of Oyo state, Rasheed Ladoja don’t want to be beaten twice to suffer same numbers of consequence in shyness.

And they have told their principal so in clear terms.

The former Governor wants to move his political structure to another party from the People’s Democratic Party.

Ladoja reportedly held a meeting with his supporters in his Ibadan, Oyo state home yesterday – Monday, April 23, 2018 – to deliberate on the matter.

He is said to currently have his eyes on the Social Democratic Party as the next political destination.

And in clear times majority of those in attendance told him to remember the disaster of 2014!.

What happened in 2014 you ask?

Well, keen to return to office as the Governor of Oyo state and not securing the required support from the leadership of the state chapter of People’s Democratic party, Ladoja and his supporters left for Accord Party to achieve the ambition.

The step ended up a huge misadventure which further demystified the political strength of Ladoja and his followers.

They came second… after all votes were counted and the candidates rated.

The former governor and his team retraced their steps to the PDP after their defection split PDP’s vote and handed the reigns of government to the All Progressives Congress and its candidate Abiola Ajimobi.

Insiders disclosed Ladoja’s supporters gave him a refresher course on all that transpired back then and the consequence that is still haunting the group.

The former governor and his crew remain fringe members of the PDP after they returned.

“Better to remain in PDP and slug it out than go on an uncertain mission” is the consensus of opinions of the Ladoja’s supporters information sourced from papermacheonline.com revealed.

By the way, the first demystification of Ladoja came with his impeachment- in his first outing as governor – orchestrated by late street character Lamidi Adedibu over sharing of security votes!.

Adedibu claimed he was the once ensuring there was adequate security in Oyo state and not the governor, so the security vote – fund – for the state should come to him!.

Ladoja refused and lost his seat as governor via a controversial impeachment.
