Reason Popular Music Award, Headies May Not Hold This Year After 11yrs Back To Back Editions

2017 is winding down and there is no word from Smooth Promotions, the organizers of Nigeria’s most popular music award, Headies.

This comes after 11years back to back editions with ‘’promotional materials’’ usually released well ahead of time. And call for entries long before then.

But this year, the silence is deafening – with the year just a month to go.

And headman Ayo Animashaun is keeping sealed lips on the new twist.

According to pulse ng an email sent to Ayo Animashaun, the executive producer remains unanswered.

And an inside source reportedly confirmed everybody in house remains in the dark regarding the 2017 edition, with inactivity about it strongly indicating ‘’a no-show’’ this year.

From 2006 that it started off, the award annually witnessed talk of the town dramas.
