Olamide Shatters Fans Expectations Beyond Measures At Lagos Concert

Olamide, the voice of the street greatly disappointed fans at a concert staged in Lagos recently.

He abruptly walked off stage after cueing the audience’s demand “Wo”.

The event was the Hennesy Artistry 2017.

The invite-only concert held at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.

Olamide, Timaya, Tiwa Savage, Ycee and Falz headlined the event.

After all the listed stars and others in lesser “league” had prepared the ground with master performances, Olamide mounted the stage as the “main man”.

But his performance left many shocked and disappointed beyond measures.

He reportedly walked on stage nonchalantly and gave DJ Enimoney a hectic time trying to cover for his off cue ‘motions” on stage.

A report monitored on pulseng revealed that, after swerving through some of his hits, “Bobo” was cued and the crowd went wild in anticipation of what was to come, but Olamide cut off the song and launched into ‘a speech’ that drowned the air of expectation.

His “no head or tail” speech was followed by another set of lackluster performance until the fans demanded his latest hit “Wo”.

The song was cued and just as the audience were about to get into the groove, the singer ordered the music turned off and walked off the stage – with many fans left open-mouthed in a mixture of shock and disappointment.
