Ramadan: Singer Naira Marley made a thought-provoking prayer on twitter yesterday.

He posted “Oh Allah give me the strength to distance myself from that which distances me from you.”

The unusual prayer from the social deviant always in the news for the wrong reasons – including arrest, detention and arraignment in court – enjoyed over twenty-four thousand (24,000) likes and four thousand and one hundred and thirty-five (4,135) retweets from the singer’s over One million and Two hundred (1.2m) followers.

Some of the responses keyed into the prayer with comments of Amen while others doubt the sincerity of purpose with comments like “..that must be weed (India Hemp)”.
