And it is the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Sources disclosed the Ooni and the President became close over issues that pertain to the well being of the nation’s number one citizen.

“The Ooni played a strategic role in the return to health of Buhari during the days of dark rumors” a source stated.

The dark days of rumors refer to the period Buhari was doused with talks and reports of been bedridden – with prolonged medical trips abroad in between.

Insiders disclosed the Ooni Ogunwusi’s role which has roots in the deeds of his predecessor Ooni Okunade Sijuade is said to have opened the doors of “presidential” favors for the reigning monarch.
