…Explains ‘we were initially listed but sorted out the matter’

Boss of Oil firm- Oilbath, Mr Kola Gbadamosi has clarified talks of arraignment for fuel subsidy scam surrounding his person.

The story was in town- and reported that, the wealthy nigerian was one of the oil marketers indicted and arraigned for alleged subsidy.

He was reportedly arraigned and released on bail.

But Mr Gbadamosi in a chat with societynowng.com faulted the claim.

He admitted that his firm was initially listed in the pioneer list of indicted oil marketers but explained ‘ we challenged that action. We were not invited before we were listed. We challenged it and backed it up with documents. We made publications on the matter in the newspapers to make our stand known publicly and we were cleared. We were never arraigned’

The owner of lovable car Bentley with special number plate ‘KG’ reacted to talks of on going investigations of his company with the assertion ‘ The government is not investigating any other marketer outside of those listed in the Aigh Imoukhuede panel. They are the ones the government is focusing and we are not in that list’

The federal government in the initial list had indicted Mr Kola Gbadamosi and his company and listed it to refund N1.1b alleged fuel subsidy scam.

But judging from his assertion and records available at press time- the indictment appears a thing of the past.

Investigations by societynowng.com revealed what further fuelled talks of Mr Gbadamosi’s arraignment was the case of Mr Abdullai Alao- the son of islamic leader, Aare Arisekola Alao.

Abullahi Alao was indicated and arraigned for two separate cases of fuel subsidy scam- he secured bail in both.

Those close to them describe Kola Gbadamosi and Abdullai Alao as ‘ so close and enjoy everything together’

Their level of intimacy is such that they purchase similar wonder wheels- most noticeable a bentley with special number plates.

Kola Gbadamosi is tagged ‘a protege to Abdullai’s father Aare Arisekola- who is listed as the duo’s mentor in and out of business.

‘It was taken on the street that given their level of rapport, in virtually all facets of life. That Gbadamosi’s name was in the initial list of indicted oil marketers- and Abdulla’s name surfaced in subsequent list- then they would suffer the same fate’

But judging from reaction from Mr Gbadamosi and initial findings- this appears not correct.
