Oil Barons Kola Aluko, Jide Omokore Give Up!

Embattled friends and business partners, Kola Aluko and Jide Omokore have given up.

The two are currently the subject of vigorous investigation and prosecution for mega corruption.

They are prime beneficiaries of the alleged under the table deals that ripped the nations off billions of dollars of revenue in the oil sector under the watch of former minister Diezani Allison Madueke.

Jide and Kola are fingered as front men for the ex-minister undergoing probe home and abroad.

While Jide opted to stay back home to face the consequence of his deeds, partner Kola fled to avoid prosecution.

But the duo has given up on one front – they care less about various slants being given to their travails in the media.

According to an insider the primary aim of undergoing prosecution Jide and on the run Kola is to avoid a prison term.

“They don’t want to be convicted and sent to prison… if they achieve that …then they will come to clean their image and correct all the manners of dark reports decorating their names” a source divulged.
