The Ogun State Government has commenced the reconstruction of the Imodi–Imosan Road in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun East Senatorial District, as part of ongoing efforts to expand quality infrastructure and improve connectivity across the state.

The road, which serves several communities, is being rehabilitated to restore safe, smooth, and reliable access for residents and commuters.

The government said the poor condition of the corridor had, for a long time, limited movement, increased travel time, and created difficulties for residents and commuters. The ongoing works, being executed to durable engineering standards, are expected to ease transportation, improve safety, stimulate local activities, and enhance the overall quality of life in the area.

According to the state government, the project reflects the Dapo Abiodun administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive development and fair distribution of infrastructure across Ogun State. It aligns with the “Building Our Future Together” agenda, which prioritises opening up communities, strengthening local connectivity, and delivering people-centred projects that directly improve everyday living.
