Gbenga Adeyinka Set To Stage Second Edition Of Successful Show In Ibadan

After making a huge success in Ibadan on August 21, 2011 at the Jogor Centre, Ibadan, where he held the Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends, comedian of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Gbenga Adeyinka is set to return to Ibadan again.

This time, the bulky comedian, who is fast losing weight after entering for a weight-loss programme, is planning to storm the ancient city with top acts in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Headlining this year’s edition of the show are the Aphako master, Terry G, Gongo aso crooner, 9ice, king of comedy, Alibaba, the splufik master, Koffi and R&B singer, Capital FEMI.

Others include KSB, Jahbless, Lord of Ajasa, Skuki, Chuddy K, DJ Tony Blaze, Laff Up, Jedi, Jayru, Rayce, Shiaman, Morac, Lepacious Bose, Gordons, Omobaba, Tony Tetuila and a host of others.

Speaking about the show in a recent chat, Gbenga Adeyinka said, “I don’t know why I’m so particular about Ibadan but I guess the love they showed me the first time proved my point that Ibadan remains the home of comedy. The return like we have tagged this year’s edition of the Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka And Friends, would be worth the while for lovers of entertainment in Ibadan and I can tell you, the city of Ibadan would change the swag and attitude!”

At the moment, the performing artistes for the event have not only given their nod but have also taken to their social networking accounts to campaign for the event.

Committee for this year’s edition noted that the event venue for this year has been confirmed to be Jogor Centre with two shows.
