Dangerous Weapons Reign As Imo Dep Gov Madumere & Gov Okorocha’s In-law, Nwosu’s Supporters Fight

It was a reign of dangerous weapons as supporters of deputy governor of Imo state Eze Madumere and those of Governor Rochas Okorocha’s in law Uche Nwosu clashed on Monday, February 19 2018.

The venue of the bloody encounter was Nworubi, Mbaitoli Local government area of the state according to a report by Punch.

The council area is a stronghold of Deputy Governor Madumere.

Supporters of Nwosu who is also the chief of staff to his father in law cum governor of the state had gone to Nworubi to endorse him as the next front man of the state.

Madumere is equally interested in becoming Governor Okorocha’s successor.

The deputy Governor’s supporters had reportedly taken on those of the chief of staff after the “endorsement” in an engagement that turned bloody as dangerous weapons were freely used according to information published by Punch.
