Auto dealer and part owner of fun place, Chrome – Charles Ahize has shut down the night club and kicked out his partner, Ladi Akindele.

The leader of pan Igbo organisation, Obigbo closed down Chrome- created out of the ruins of mismanagement of Trybecca- on Friday November 18 2011.

Ladi ceased to be a stakeholder in the enterprise same day.

The closure of the popular home of all night leisure kick started a planned one week renovation of the night club.

According to a source ‘the idea is to repackage

the place for improved businesses in days to come’

Information revealed for the sake of continuity the haven of entertainment will continue with the usage of the trade name Chrome, when it re opens.

investigation revealed that Ahize, with one hundred percent ownership of the enterprise is in advanced with a new partner to oversee operations at the place.

Informants explained modalities are being work out to ensure ‘a reincarnation of Ladi’s style doesn’t occur in the new business arrangement’

Ladi Akindele was reportedly kicked out over allegation of severally defaulting in making payments as agreed to Ahize- the principal sponsor of the business.

The last debt he accumulated was Fifteen Million Naira- and Ahize seeing no future in running business that way asked him to go.

It is not clear whether a clear cut arrangement was reached on how the debt would be paid by the two erstwhile business partners.

Before he teamed up with Ahize, Ladi quarrelled with Lanre Nzeribe, his estranged half brother and co-operator of another club, Deuces on issues bothering on what led to his sack at Chrome.
