…cold war crippling partnership arrangement

Mr Toyin Subair, the boss at pay television- Hi T.V and wealthy Lebanese business man, Mr Kamal Boustani are currently engaged in a cold war.

Sources attribute this development to a business arrangement going sour.

Informants claim Toyin and Kamal recently entered into a business arrangement with that was supposed to be mutually beneficiary to their brands.

The ‘Hi’ brand was pencilled to make use of Kamal’s. fun place tagged ‘K’s’ place on Victoria Island Lagos to launch new enterprises.

The arrangement was part of the reasons Mr Boustani shut down the Akinadesola fun place for renovation almost two years ago.

Prior to the shutting down, K’s place hosted one of the most patronised night clubs in Lagos, Club Papas.

And a respectable restaurant doing the day.

The manner the two businesses operated gave the celebrated Lebanese ‘huge profit on weekly basis’

Sources claimed he wanted to ‘upgrade’ his business operation and ‘profit volume’ by entering into a new business arrangement with Toyin Subair.

Sources claimed as ‘landlord’ of the complex- he had collected advance payment and delved into an extensive renovation exercise.

Stalling of subsequent payments are said to be delaying the perfection of the job.

Informants claimed the continuing delay- and attendant loss of revenue to Kamal- is said to be resulting in frayed relationship between the two.

Kamal is said to be exploring ways to get out of the contractual agreement he made with Subair.

Insiders divulged ‘ He is not finding this easy to do because it appeared to be iron clad’

Subair is an entertainment lawyer reputed to know his onions.

Information pieced together revealed that the growing impasse has resulted in a cold war crippling the business arrangement between them by the day.
