Bukola Saraki Moves To Bring Sanity To “Noisy Senate” With Threats Of Walking Out Noise Makers
Senate President Bukola Saraki wants to bring sanity to the Senate under his watch.
He has issued threats to lawmakers who are fond of causing distractions while plenary is on.
“We will be forced to walk you out!” the Senate President told the noise makers.
The Senate President made the declaration today – Wednesday July 5 2017.
Information available have it that some Senators are fond of side talks during plenary and most times the Senator forced to hit the gravel to enforce decorum.
The banters are said to be usual start before session, force a late begin and eats it way into discussion of serious issues.
The Senate President in attempt to cehck the growing excesses today reportedly stated
“Distinguished colleagues, the noise in the chamber is too much. Those who have issues to discuss should go to the coffee room and allow others to contribute so that we will not be forced to walk you out of the chamber.”
