Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the immediate past governor of Ogun state is on a mission.

Insiders disclosed the objective of this mission is to get contractors he engaged when he was governor of Ogun state to deliver promises made.

Amosun, the immediate past governor of Ogun state, in the build-up to the handover to his successor Dapo Abiodun paid for the projects initiated by his administration, especially road works.

Amosun’s loyalists claim the move was to protect the former governor’s legacy by freeing the contractors from possible victimization as regards funding by his successor.

The supporters of new Governor Abiodun labeled the payment of 100% of project fees to contractors of ongoing projects by Amosun as one of the financial landmines created by the former governor to give the new administration a bad start.

Sources confirmed while governor Abiodun has adopted the approach of waiting to see if the terms of the contracts would be adhered to, Senator Amosun has made it a point of duty to milk political points from the development by vigorously pushing the contractors to meet up with expectations and ”even, work towards surpassing it” societynow.ng learned.

”That is why Amosun takes time to visit the site of some of the projects and interact with the workmen whenever he is in town, aside delegating his men to keep watch on the situation of things” societynow.ng learned.
