“Loyalty, Wisdom, Sense Of Duty” — Tinubu Salutes Shettima At 60

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing his “loyalty, wisdom and sense of duty” as invaluable to his administration.

Tinubu, in a birthday message, congratulated Shettima, whom he described as his “brother and partner” in steering the affairs of the country.

He also rejoiced with Shettima’s wife, Nana, his children, family members and political associates on the milestone.

The President said the Vice President was “not just a trusted ally or a valued colleague, but also a patriot whose life has been defined by service, commitment and sacrifice for worthy causes.”

According to Tinubu, Shettima’s 60th birthday provided an opportunity to celebrate his distinguished banking career and “exemplary record of service to Borno State and Nigeria.”

He commended the Vice President for his years of public service, first as Governor of Borno State and subsequently as Vice President of Nigeria.

“In both capacities, Kashim has demonstrated courage, diligence, compassion and an abiding commitment to improving the lives of the people,” Tinubu said.

The President also acknowledged Shettima’s loyalty to the All Progressives Congress, APC, his support for the administration and his dedication to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Tinubu particularly praised Shettima’s role as Chairman of the National Economic Council, saying he had provided “purposeful leadership in coordinating economic policy and fostering collaboration among the Federal Government and the sub-nationals.”

He added that Shettima’s “respect for constitutional governance, democratic institutions, and dialogue and consultation” had helped strengthen good governance.

“As a trusted partner, his loyalty, wisdom and sense of duty have remained invaluable to the administration,” the President said.

Tinubu thanked the Vice President for his “steadfast support and partnership” as they continued to work towards delivering the promises of the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians.

“I am confident that working together, we will continue to make meaningful progress in building the Nigeria of our dreams,” he said.

The President, on behalf of the Federal Government, again congratulated Shettima on his 60th birthday and prayed for divine guidance, protection and strength for the Vice President.

“May Munificent Allah grant him wisdom and good health, and bless him with many more years of purposeful service to Nigeria,” Tinubu said.
