Zamfara State Gov, Abdul Aziz Yari In N157m Tractor Purchase Mess

Zamfara State Governor, Abdul Aziz Yari is currently at the centre of a growing controversy.

Sources claim that information coating his person has root in the authorization of the purchase of thirty five tractors, to supplement efforts of farmers in the state.

The tractors were reportedly acquired at a unit cost of N4.5m.

Informants revealed that the acquisition of the tractors were bankrolled by the State government.

Sources divulged that, however contrary to expectations- when acquired- the tractors were taken to the Zamfara state Lagos liaison office (instead of the state and farmers in need of the products)

Information filtering in disclosed that the farm equipment are now being sold off piece meal.

Informants alleged that an individual identified as Muhammed said to be one of the brothers of the Deputy Governor in charge of the clandestine sale.

Strangely the Tractors purchased at a quoted price of N4.5m per one are being quietly marketed at N2.5m! at the Victoria Island sited liaison office.

Informants revealed that the growing news of this development is one of the cause of the controversy rocking Governor Yari at present.
