World Consuls Association Appoints Sifax Boss, Taiwo Afolabi As Chairman!

Dr Taiwo Afolabi, the astute business breaking economic records with soar away business, Sifax Group just broke new grounds.

He has been appointed as Chairman by world counsuls Association.

Dr Afolabi’s appointment was made at the recently concluded meeting of the Board of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC) held in Kingston, Jamaica.
The low profile achiever was specifically elected as: Regional Chairman of Honorary
Consuls of West Africa made up of Seventeen (17) countries

And Member of the FICAC Legal Committee being a Barrister-at-Law.

Additional information gathered by societynowng.com revealed that, outside of these laudable appointments- Dr Afolabi also earned another esteem recognition.

At the just concluded African Achievers Award, he was decorated with the title
‘African Industrialist of the year’. This is said to be ‘in recognition of his exploits in the business world’

The Sifax group Chief Executive Officer is a member of the presidential Business Support Group (BSG) – a select private sector “egg heads“saddled with the responsibility of providing a platform for anchoring the views of the private sector with intent to support the development of the National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP).

He is also an holder of national honour – Member of the Order of Niger (MON).
A quiet individual, with his business exploits speaking volumes for him, the success driven A-lister was appointed the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Djibouti in Nigeria by H.E Ismail Omah Guelleh, President of the Republic of the Djibouti on July 1 2010.

Widely aknowleged as a generous fellow- with strong passion for helping the needy, he is the financial muscle behind Ajoke Ayisat Afolabi Foundation (AAAF) instituted on

behalf of his late mother (Alhaja Ajoke Ayisat Afolabi) to help the less privileged- with the support of his siblings and members of family.

The notable nigerian was 51 years on Thursday, April, 29 2013.
