Betty Anyanwu – Akeredolu, the wife of the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has made a grave assertion.
She declared ” We have lost our humanity because of politics!”.
The wife of the Ondo Governor made the assertion along with a video for clarity.
She posted “Happening in my home state, Imo state. Is it fair? We have lost our humanity because of politics!”

The video captures the protest by the old students of the Federal Government Girls College, Owerri who were denied accommodation by Protea Hotel in Owerri, Imo State after making reservations “months ahead of time”.
The old students pre-booked the accommodations for their “50th global reunion”.
They were refused accommodation on arrival on the premise that the Imo state Government had reserved Hotels for election purposes.
The Imo State gubernatorial election is scheduled for November 11, 2023.
The development left the old students of the Federal Government Girls College, Owerri who came from far and near stranded.
The outrage from Mrs Akeredolu adds to the growing angst since the video became popular.
