With High Power Delegation In Tow, Buhari Returns To Kaduna Home For The First Time Since He Left Office

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to his Kaduna residence, marking his first visit since leaving office on May 29, 2023.

During his tenure from May 29, 2015, to May 29, 2023, he served two four-year terms.

After handing over to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Buhari relocated from Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power, to his hometown, Daura, in Katsina State, where he resided until his return to Kaduna this morning.

Accompanying him on this trip was a high-power delegation that included Vice President Kashim Shettima; Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State; and the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, led the team that welcomed the former President and his entourage.
