Why Traders Around HQ, Canaanland Have Not Been Happy From Day One As Winners Chapel’s Annual Shiloh Ends

The yearly one-week programme of the Living Faith Church Worldwide ends today, Saturday, December 12, 2020.

There is, however, a Thanksgiving service at Canaan land, the international headquarters of the Christian ministry founded by Bishop David Oyedepo located in Ota, Ogun state (and other outlets of the ministry) on Sunday, December 13, 2020..

The checks by societynow.ng revealed that unlike in previous editions of Shiloh, traders within and around Canaan land have been lamenting right from the first day of this year’s edition.

“The sales have been poor. The crowd is not as much as it used to be” societynow.ng learned.

Resident sources in the area disclosed that the upside to this year’s one week Shiloh programme is that “The traffic is not hectic as before, it was usually horrendous. But this year because not many people came for Shiloh traffic has been fairly good since it started.”

However, for the unhappy traders, it is better to have hectic traffic for a week and the economy of the area positively impacted with brisk sales than otherwise.

Insiders insist many traders around Canaan land rely on the gains of extraordinary patronage from those who attend the yearly Shiloh to have a worthy end of the year celebration and a good start to the new year.

“But this year’s edition as fallen short of expectation based on the low attendance of worshipers” sources disclosed.

Societynow.ng gathered that the advent of Covid-19, despite Bishop David Oyedepo’s claim the virus that has no power in religious gatherings, played a huge role in the low attendance.
