9months after he was sworn in as the governor of Osun state, Gboyega Oyetola is yet to pick his commissioners.

Oyetola is said to be resisting the attempt by his predecessor Rauf Aregbesola to have overbearing influence on his administration by determining who becomes what in his government.

Party leaders across the 30 local government areas in the state are agitating local politicians form the bulk of Oyetola’s cabinet, unlike the tenure of Aregbesola which was populated with “imported technocrats”.
