Why Oyetola & Aregbesola’s Supporters Are On Red Alert In Osun State

Emerging details have it supporters of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Minister Rauf Aregbesola are on red alert in Osun State.

Societynow.ng gathered that this development is as a result of a possible clash this week.

The Governor is said to have lined a stream of activities to celebrate two years in office while the Minister has also earmarked events to celebrate the dividends of his party’s ten years control of the state government.

The two sides are holding their events this week and are said to have extended invitations to each other.

“The Governor and his top men have been invited to the lined-up events by the Minister and the Minister and his loyalists have been invited to the lined-up activities by the Governor” societynow.ng learned.

Behind the scene, sources disclosed that this development is the fallout of a poorly covered supremacy battle between Aregbesola and Oyetola.

“The fear is that things may spiral out of control among their street supporters at any of the events, which is why everybody is on red alert” societynow.ng learned.

Insiders insist that if not for the “supremacy fight” between Oyetola and Aregbesola the celebrations by the two camps would have been merged and things done under the emblem of one big family that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is supposed to be in Osun State.
