In Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki needs all hands on deck to win his ferocious supremacy fight with Adams Oshiomole, the man that helped him to power.

Obaseki does not only need all hands on deck but also needs to have his key loyalists in positions of great benefits to oil his political machinery societynow.ng learned.

‘’That is why it is a big blow to him that his brother in Law, Clement Ike Agba made the list of ministerial nominees released by President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday( July 23, 2019)’’ a source stated.

Governor Obaseki’s problem lays in the fact that Agba is fiercely loyal to Oshiomole, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Societynow.ng learned that though Agba is married to Obaseki’s first cousin, they do not see eye to eye.

‘’The cause of their discord lays in loyalty to Oshiomole. While Agba remains loyal Obaseki wants to assert independence as the Governor of Edo state’’ societynow.ng learned.

Societynow.ng gathered that Agba remains a passionate Oshiomole man and has become a rabid opponent of Obaseki as a result of this development.
