Folorunsho Alakija has been knocked off the list of the richest people in Africa.

The brain behind Famfa Oil is the only Nigerian in last year’s compilation that did not make the list this year.

The check by societynow.ng revealed that the global crash in oil price forced Alakija who owns an oil exploration company out of the esteemed list.

According to the revelation by Forbes Alakija did not make the new list of the richest persons in Africa because she dropped below $1 Billion (net worth) as a result of “lower oil prices.”
