Why Adenuga Barred Married Women From Working In Globacom

Victims of the recent sack carried out at telecommunication, Globacom, have made further revelations.

They have unveiled why Chairman Mike Adenuga directed that the action targeted mostly married women.

Though “people” inside Globacom have denied this claim, the victims insist otherwise.

And further alleged there is now a new rule in place on the orders of billionaire Adenuga.

The holder of national honor, Grand Commander of the Order of The Niger (GCON) is said to have directed an employment blockade on married women.

“That means Globacom would not be employing married women for now” a source explained.

This development comes after back to back sack of workers at the telecommunication company.

And informants explained Adenuga is forbidding the employment of married women to boost staff productivity.

“He is doing with people he deems anchored on the home front with domestic responsibilities and forbidding employment of the same set of people in bid to build a workforce that can work all manners of hours and shifts focused only on the remuneration with other duties taking second place, that’s a kind of loyalty that will be hard to extract from an ideal wife and mother’ a source provided depth.

Insiders claim Adenuga has ordered the recruitment and retention of single ladies and men who fit the “bill” as he goes on with building the “efficient workforce” he desires.

There are talks the major step is part of a cost-saving and futuristic strategy to position the telecommunication company for the economic challenges of days to come.
