There is a change of leadership baton at one of the major revenue streams of Lagos state government.
Bola Akintola has replaced Olufolarin Ogunsanwo as boss at the Lagos state Internal Revenue agency the tax collector agency churning out big numbers for the government in charge of the centre of excellence.
Information filtering in however indicates the change that swept Ogunsanwo out of office didn’t come as result of becoming tire of occupying his position but rather from ”numbers in the account book”.
Informants claim the whispers trailing the abrupt change of baton points to ”certain things not adding up”
According to those who should know the talks didn’t establish the architect of the unravelled anomaly in the account books.
But the governor was said to be uncomfortable with what came to be at one of the major cash cows of his administration.
The state executive was said to have demanded for a change of the guard that allowed the numbers to be jumbled up – and Ogunsanwo found himself out of office.
But the manner surrounding his exit his being kept guarded because of the high stake of the numbers involved a source alleged.

And fortunately for the administration and it’s backers Ogunsanwo’s replacement came with improved political goodwill, Bolaji Akintola the new front person is the daughter of the Bisi Akande a national player in the politics of All Progressives Congress – the party in charge of the state, and federal government.
