“Where Do They Come From…Are They Ghosts!” Observers Wonder As Top Fun Places D Place By Papas, Quilox Fill To The Brim, Roads In Front & Other Sides Littered With All Kinds Of Automobiles
…as night life makes rage of economic recession seem a lie
Thursday, December 22 2016 – from music awards, Headies – societynow sources were at top fun places, Quilox and D Place By Papas and they were filled to the brim.
The fun places located in different parts of town, D Place By Papas on Admiralty Road Lekki and Quilox on Ozumba Mbadiwe Victoria Island Lagos had one thing in common – they were full of people, and the places and surrounding environment littered with automobiles of kinds.
‘’That is how it usually is oooo…i don’t even know where they come from, whether they are even ghosts’’ one of the loiters at Quilox opined.
The same sentiment was expressed by an hawker in from of the The Place By Papas.
Inside the two fun places was a world of heavy spending, loud music, plenty dancing and excessive presence of sensually clad ladies.
‘’An existence that makes claims of economic recession seem a lie’’ a source pointed out.
Societynow gathered from sources at the two leading night life fun places that that the spectacle of filled to brim and litany of cars is a common occurrence.
And they fun places are not just filled with ordinary people but spenders.
The liquor flowed and the ladies and guys indulged in acts that make nonsense of social etiquette .
But it’s a night club , there is no room for decorum.
Just money, spend it and in abundance and you are licensed to walk with your heads, if that’s your idea of fun.
And there are the ladies, those who come spend their money and those who want to be taken care for.
Interestingly, statics at the two top leisure ‘’joints’’ show there are more female smokers than men.
It was also apparent, more of the younger generation and new faces have hold sway at the new fun places
The ladies, the drinking, carousing, loud noise, mindless dancing in most instance and all the excitement painted a picture of a life of luxury and buoyant society.
But the truth is that there is economic hardship, and the pointers are very obvious – just your neighbours or take more interest in spending habits of those near you and their interests and extent to relish in their wants, not needs – wants.
