What The Release Of Commissioners List – And Controversies Trailing It – Means For Dapo Abiodun

Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has finally released the names of his commissioners.

The development comes six months after he was sworn in.

In the face of protests, particularly of the marginalization of women despite promises the list would be gender-sensitive, Abiodun revealed that he would soon announce other names.

Checks by societynow.ng revealed that Abiodun is facing massive protests over the names released so far, especially from the camp of former governor Segun Osoba.

However, in the face of this development, watchers of events believe there is a huge gain for Abiodun.

Political watchers insist whatever names he announced, there would be protests – even from people that had no stake and did not contribute in any way to his campaign.
