Insiders disclosed that Olasunkanmi Ajala, the wife of popular singer 9ice (Abolore Akande) is still hurting but not as much as when the mess her husband got himself into hit the public space.

Societynow.ng gathered that friends and family members of the singer are plying pressure on his wife to forgive him and give their young marriage another chance.

A family friend disclosed that the pleas, especially the caliber of people that stepped in to save the situation, are gradually making Olasunkanmi have a change of heart about walking out of the marital union that was legally done on December 24, 2019.

“We are still pleading with her, she is healing small small (in bits)” a source disclosed.

Multiple sources disclosed that there are strong indications that the aggrieved wife would relent on walking out of her marriage and give 9ice another chance based on the “guarantees” of respected persons that he would be the “ideal husband” henceforth.

The singer got his nude picture leaked as well as a video of indecent acts with an unnamed lady.

The singer went on to show outright disrespect for his wife of barely a year old – and all that she represents – when rather than address the scandal, he urged on those sharing the belittling picture and video.

Posting the video of his new song “Zaddy” in the face of the emerging scandal, 9ice added the caption “Same way you’re promoting this scandal video, please promote my song. #zaddyzaddy. Thank you.”

Societynow.ng gathered that this was the move that enraged the singer’s wife and her sympathizers.

Insiders insist that Olasunkanmi was not happy that her husband was caught in the act, she was angry that it has become a public affair but was enraged that he showed no remorse for what has happened and was publicly glorying in it. And those who care about her shared this sentiment.

The singer, however, ate his words within 48hrs apologizing for his misstep and pleading with the public to beg his wife in a desperate bid to save his marriage.

In a viral video, he labeled “Save A Sinking Vessel” the singer confessed – and pleaded -that “I have done something so shameful and terrible, and it is costing me my family.

“The most important thing to me right now is my family.

“This terrible thing I have done is costing me a whole lot. I apologise for what I have done and I need you guys to help me beg my wife. She is my backbone.

“I have excelled in many other things but one thing I have been failing at is my marriage. I want this marriage to work. Please, help me beg my wife. Save this marriage for me.

Societynow.ng learned that this move appears to be paying off as pressure continues to pile on Olasunkanmi from expected and unexpected quarters to give the marriage to the popular singer another chance.

9ice and Olasunkanmi have been together since 2015 before they formally wedded on December 24, 2019.
