Visiting Shehu Of Borno’s Brother Dies In Unilag Guest House Fire

Emerging revelations have it that

Tragedy struck at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Guest Houses, when a fire outbreak occurred around 2:00 am, on Thursday, killing a member of the delegation of the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, the new Chancellor of the University.

The Zonal Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Alhaji Suleiman Yakubu confirmed the incident.

Four guest rooms were affected by the fire – A12, A13, A14 and A15.

The deceased who was a brother to the Shehu of Bornu will be flown to Maiduguri for burial later today.
