The police have released the detained aides of First Lay Aisha Buhari.

This development comes barely hours after President Muhammadu Buhari announced that the law must take its course in the occurrence that led to the arrest of aides of the First Lady.

The aides of the President’s wife were arrested over a shooting that resulted during an altercation with Sabiu ‘’Tunde’’ Yusuf, the President’s Personal Assistant, and his team.

President Buhari’s wife, Aisha, and her aides attempted to forcefully take Yusuf into ‘’isolation’’ – as part of keep safe efforts against Covid-19 in the presidential villa – for traveling outside the seat of power, and the latter and his aides resisted the move.

The altercation between the two sides resulted in the use of firearms within the premises and the police after ‘initial investigation’ arrested and detained the aides of the First Lady.

The information monitored on Saharareporters, however, revealed that Shugaba, the ADC of the First Lady has been re-assigned to force headquarters Abuja after his release from detention.
