‘’Am I your leader?’’ the former governor of Lagos state asked the crowd that filled the MKO Abiola venue of the political campaign.

The national leader did not finish the statement before he a torrent of boos hit him.

Societynow.ng learned the chants were so ferocious that it drowned all attempts by the popular politician to make further comments on stage.

Sources on ground learned that the Jargaban was forced to abandon the stage visibly embarrassed.

Details available to societynow.ng revealed that the former governor failed to take into cognizance of the fact that a larger percentage of those at the venue of the presidential campaign are hardcore loyalists of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Amosun is passionately against the emergence of Dapo Abiodun as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun state.

Amosun is also working tirelessly to ensure the APC does not become the next governor of Ogun state.

The outgoing governor is backing Adekunle Akinlade, the gubernatorial flag bearer of the opposition Allied People’s Movement to become his successor.
