Adoration Assembly, the ministry of the embattled Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has been shut down.

This development comes as he begins the one-month suspension he was handed by the leadership of the Catholic Church in Nigeria – where he operates.

The punishment is coated in the guise of embarking on a spiritual retreat away from all activities of the church – and without contact with those involve with its affairs – for 30days,

The suspension is the fallout of a running battle with the Bishop Callistus Onaga under whom he serves.

Mbaka was suspended for unbecoming conducts after answering a query from Bishop Onaga.

His case was further compounded when members of the ministry he oversees attacked and destroy the properties of Bishop Onaga over allegations of victimizing Father Mbaka.

The attack on Bishop Onaga’s property is the result of a long running battle of influence.

Mbaka who was strongly political with his utterances and passionately supported the emergence of President Muhammad Buhari was untouchable for Bishop Onaga until recently.
