Unpaid Pry School Teachers In Ogun Get Salaries On Good Friday

Emerging details have it that the primary school teachers in Ogun state who were yet to get last month’s salary – March 2020 – started receiving payments on Good Friday – April 15, 2022.

The payment started coming after SocietyNow.Ng’s report.

“Some of them have confirmed payment. They have received alerts” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

SocietyNow.Ng cannot, however, confirm if all those affected have received their salaries.

While all other workers in Ogun state were paid, primary school teachers in five council areas including Obafemi Owode, Yewa North (Ayetoro), and Odeda did not receive their salaries for March 2022.

They started getting paid on Friday, April 15, 2022 – a public holiday known as Good Friday that is part of the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
