UBA (United Bank for Africa) has taken a strategic step to protect the interests of customers – and the general public – against the antics of fraudsters, especially this festive season.

The bank with Oliver Alawuba as Group Managing Director has listed 12 (Twelve) scams to beware of this yuletide.

The vital information with arresting header “12 Scams Of Christmas”, put up as an infographic for easy reading, was sent in direct messages to customers and put on social media handles for the benefit of the larger public.

The yuletide period is usually associated with all manners of tricks by scammers adept at separating people from their money. UBA’s “12 Scams Of Christmas” raises huge awareness of possible point-of-contacts with the con artists and limits the chances of the nefarious characters making many cry.
