Top Designer, Remi Lagos Dies Of Lung Cancer, After 6 Days In Coma!

…How friend, Helen Ajayi rushed her to London hospital to save her life

Celebrated cloth maker, Remi Osholake is dead.

She was the creative mind behind reputable fashion house- Remi Lagos.

She died in a London hospital of an ailment tagged Lungs Cancer early morning today (Saturday November 03 2012)

Remi was said to be unconscious for all of 6 days, before giving up the ghost.

She was flown abroad, at the instance of close friend and former beauty queen- Helen Priest Ajayi, two week ago.

Investigations revealed, she had complained of ‘severe ill health’ and was rushed to a Lagos based medical hospital by wife of Mega Plaza owner, Mr Allon Nelken. Remi Lagos

‘It was determined at the clinic that she needed a more comprehensive examination and advanced treatment abroad’ an insider divulged.

At this point close friend, Helen Ajayi was drawn into the picture- she reportedly hurriedly perfected and paid for the medical trip abroad.

‘Remi was in a bad shape at that point in a time’ a source divulged.

Further digs by societynowng.com revealed the deceased was conclusively diagnosed of Lung Cancer at the London hospital, but she spent ‘just a week’ at the health facility before passing on.

Sources confirmed that prior to her death; she was not a known smoker.

Her romance with alcoholic drinks is tagged ‘minimal’…’Just a social drinker in that regard’ a source maintained.

Though in her 50’s- she was unmarried and did not give birth before she died.

She jealously guarded her romantic dalliances and liaisons during her life time- the public knew her more for her works.

Credited with over 25years in put as a fashion house administrator- the late Osholanke is widely known for popularising the ‘fine, cool, smooth and soothing edge cuts’ on cloths in this side of the world.

Her designs are generally tagged ‘uniquely simple and soothing to the eye’ and not for everybody.

Strictly all about female attires, With a factory in Surulere, and show rooms in high end areas Mega Plaza and Shoprite (both in Lagos) and others in Abuja and Port Harcourt – Remi Lagos was the definition of the aspirations of ambitious new comers in her terrain at the time of death.
