One of Africa’s leading investors and philanthropists, Tony Elumelu has shared a piece of advice that has helped him tremendously throughout his career.

The champion across different sectors of the nation’s economy made the revelation as part of his weekly motivation series.

He disclosed the piece of advice as “Don’t give up”.

Putting the advice in context, Elumelu who is a a member of the Presidential Economic Coordination Council (PECC) established by President Tinubu, according to a statement by the presidency, “in a “strategic move to bolster the nation’s economic governance frameworks and ensure robust and coordinated economic planning and implementation” explained “Last week I had an induction session with new staff at Heirs Group, I advised them that life is full of challenges and obstacles, but you must never give up. There is no successful business leader who has not had his or her own fair share of challenges. But they are successful because they never give up. They are resilient, so you must keep persevering. And at the end, you become successful and you tell the story too. So do not give up and don’t quit.’
