Timipre Sylva Gets 52,061 Votes To Win APC Guber Ticket…David Lyon Got 1,582
gubernatorial election is slated for November 11
Timpre Sylva, the former minister for petroleum resources has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Bayelsa state.
The former minister secured 52,061 votes to be declared the winner.
Joshua Maclver polled 2,078 votes to place second while David-Lyon ( 2019 election governor-elect stopped by a court judgment) secured 1,582 votes in third place.
Other participants in the primary election are Prof. Ongoebi Etebu – 1277 votes, Ikisima Ogbomade – 584 votes, and Festus Daumiebi – 557 votes.
The Bayelsa state gubernatorial election is slated for November 11, 2023.
