There are strong indications Bayo Adelabu and his political godfather immediate past governor of Oyo state Abiola Ajimobi are back on good terms.

Adelabu was the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo state in the last general election.

Adelabu lost the election and Ajimobi failed to win election to the Senate in circumstances that created conflicts between the duo.

Individual attempts to become the minister from Oyo did not help the ‘’situation’’ between them.

But indication appears all that may be in the past at Adelabu’s recent 49th birthday celebration.

Wasiu, the younger brother to former governor Ajimobi accompanied Adelabu to the venue of the celebration at Celebrity Night club, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo state.

Wasiu’s actions – or inaction – is widely believed to determine the leaning of Ajimobi to a person or issue.

Reports monitored on papermacheonline.com revealed that Adelabi arrived at the venue of his birthday celebration with Wasiu in tow.

The gubernatorial candidate was announced as his excellency according to the report and he acknowledged greetings with ‘’raised fist’’ and ‘’sweet smile’’.

The birthday celebration reportedly coincided with the first anniversary of the new rave Beard Gang Movement.

The celebration by the Beard Gang Movement members led by Akintayo Akinade hugely boosted Adelabu’s 49th birthday party.
