Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has shared his thoughts on the current happenings in Kwara State.

Saraki declared that the reports “are very disturbing”

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain specifically stated

“The reports coming out of my home state of Kwara are very disturbing”. At this time when tensions are high across the nation, I appeal to my fellow citizens of Kwara to please remain calm and peaceful in order to avoid further loss of lives.

For the same reason I likewise appeal to the security forces to desist wherever possible from using live ammunition. We must do our utmost to de-escalate the situation.”

Kwara state is currently embroiled in looting and outbreak of violence in the guise of a spillover of the #EndSars protests gone bad.

A situation that has forced the state government to impose a 24hours curfew.
