The Real Story Behind The Talks That Aregbesola Is Compiling List Of Sanwo-Olu’s Cabinet Members

Societynow.ng’s investigation revealed that there is no doubt Rauf Aregebsola is fully back as a major player in the politics of Lagos state.

A former commissioner in Lagos state, Aregbesola is the immediate past two-term governor of Osun state.

‘’Aregbesola’s return is obviously making some people jittery’’ a source stated.

The digs conducted by societynow.ng revealed that while Aregbesola may be involved in the compiling of the list of the cabinet of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor-Elect of Lagos state, it is not correct to say he is solely in charge of the process.

‘’It doesn’t work that way’’ a source stated emphatically.

‘’What Tinubu does is to ask his key people to come up with a list and he does the final list and Aregbesola is naturally one of those key people’’ the source explained.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the number one politician in the ruling All Progressives Congress in Lagos state.

Societynow.ng learned that hitting the town with tales that Aregbesola is singularly compiling the list of Sanwo-Olu’s cabinet is a fallout of the internal strive rocking the APC in Lagos state.

‘’There is trouble in Lagos APC over fights for influence and positions, the story is part of that raging fight’’ a source stated.

Societynow.ng gathered that the story themed trouble over Aregbesola compiling names of Sanwo-Olu’s cabinet members is aimed at putting the former governor in a ‘’defensive’’ position as he officially warms his way back into the heart of Lagos politics – and his party.

‘’The move is part of tactics to create problems for Aregbesola with some people now and in future’’ a source stated and provided insight ‘’ the plot is that when certain people don’t make it into Sanwo-Olu’s government Aregesola would be fingered as dropping them based on the propaganda he compiled the list.’’

Societynow.ng learned that the long haul of the plot is to eventually knock off Aregbesola from acting as the number two man to Tinubu in government and party affairs.

Aregbesola’s fightback strategy against the plot is yet to be established at press time.
