Legal giant Richard Akinjide has given up the ghost.

The former Attorney General of the Federal passed on at about 1.a.m today – Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

The 88-year-old passed away at his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The remains of one of the torchlights of his profession and major character in the infamous ruling that denied late sage Obafemi Awolowo the chance to become the President of Nigeria currently resides in the morgue.
