Suspended CBN Gov, Lamido Sanusi Bar From Travelling Abroad

Despite a court order protecting his freedom of movement and harrassment from state security apparatus, suspended Central Bank Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been barred from travelling out of the country by operatives of State Security Service.

According to reports monitored on popular news portal, saharareporters- Mr Sanusi was prevented from journeying to France by having his personal passport seized.

The incident reportedlt transpired at the Mallam Aminu Kanu International Airport, Kano.

Sanusi was reportedly on his way to France for what is described as ‘an onward journey to Mecca for the lesser hajj’

The report claimed the operatives pointedly told Mr Sanusi orders to stall his movement came from the presidency.
