The Street Journal Magazine Forum has announced that a prayer session will be held for the repose of the souls of those who died in the ill-fated Dana Air flight and those lost to terror attacks in the Northern part of Nigeria. Prayers will also be offered for all the families that lost their loved ones.

The prayers will take place at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday, 1st July, 2012 by 4 pm.

According to Mr. Arisekola, the Publisher of Street Journal, “this is a very crucial period; Nigeria needs prayers and a change of attitude to move forward. We must work and pray. God has a part and we have a part too. While prayers cannot be neglected, work too must not be neglected. The two must go together. ”

The Street Journal Magazine Forum, an offshoot of the popular online magazine, The Street Journal (www.thestreetjournal.org) is a forum on BlackBerry where members interact, discuss and find ways of solving topical issues.

Over the last two years, the Street Journal Magazine Forum has been consistent in areas that include, though not restricted to breaking news, current affairs and security alerts.

For years, Street Journal Magazine, published by Wole Arisekola, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Europe Chapter has been a leader among investigative soft sell magazines.

Membership of the forum spreads across more than 32 different countries and membership strength of over 3,000. With the thousands of minds expressing their views on the forum daily, the Street Journal Magazine Forum has gone beyond the ordinary BlackBerry Group. Everyone on the Forum has a voice, hence the Forum’s slogan “we disagree to agree”.

This development was communicated to societynowng.com via a press statement signed by editor of the online journal, Mr Wole Adejumo.
