…allegedly siphoning fund for political war chest

Information filtering in from Sokoto State indicates- Governor of the place, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko is currently at the centre of a slowly becoming popular N1.5b contract scam.

Sources attribute this development to allegations of cornering contracts valued at N1.5b in the name of an enterprise he owns.

The identity of the company is revealed as Namesco Sanafry Co.

Informants alleged the contracts have been awarded- with those in the know claiming, the fees ‘highly inflated’

Insiders revealed the reason behind the Governor’s move as ‘trying to build a political war chest’

Unconfirmed sources claimed he is eyeing a national office- and striving to put funds in place early, to achieve his aim.

Those not comfortable with his ploy in government have started making disclosures of his anomalies with intent to nip them in the bud before things spiral out of control.

It is not clear whether the development has been reported to any security agency or not.
