The abandoned mansion that was formerly the pride of socialite Kehinde Bibilari has attained a new height of neglect.

Recent visitors at the site of the magnificent edifice described it as ‘fallen into a great state of disrepair’

Sources claim that weeds, reptiles and visible cracks in the structure now decorate the once upon a time endearing building.

Former high flyer owner of the place Kehinde Bibilari had hurriedly transformed the fantasy of many into reality in the course of his campaign to become the Governor of Osun state.

Situated off Ijebu Ijesha way, Osun state the massive building is erected in Duplex format on a hilly top.

The location makes it very visible for all to see along the express way.

And this makes it very easy for road users to see that the unpainted property is fast losing it’s beauty and value.

The yet to be occupied building was abandoned by Bibilari when he lost out in the race to become the flag bearer of his party- the PDP- for the Osun state gubernatorial election in 1999.

The lost of his political dreams apparently resulted in a turn of fortune for the socialite that was formerly in your face everywhere he threaded.

His marriage to Lawunmi was said to have virtually collapsed along with his businesses over this and that issue.

At a point he was reportedly entangled with the authority for economic crimes at the instance of political opponents.

And with no patronage from his party for his political activities after it secured power in the state- all these factors were said to have made him go low profile.

Presently he is nowhere to be found on the social landscape he was a permanent fixture at before politics beckoned.
And in his absence him most noticeable legacy, the magnificent building off Ijebu Ijesha expressway is steadily falling into disrepair!
